My thoughts on Mass Effect 3′s Day 1 DLC

I’m mad! Mass Effect DLC, day 1?! I want it earlier~ ^^

I don’t want to wait for the game to come out, I know I’ll buy it. If the DLC is ready GIVE IT TO ME!! :D
As soon as I heard that the DLC was seen on the market- I wanted it on my console. I want other stuff too! I want a Reaper pet for my Xbox avatar to show my interest in Mass Effect 3. I want a mini-reaper in Playstation Home to hover around my character. How about Shepard’s armor for my Home / 360 avatars? Icon packs, dynamic themes, etc.

Were you expecting me to be outraged? Mad that this optional content is available early? That would be stupid. It’s OPTIONAL, and I’m interested- so I’ll buy it. What kind of self-entitled cunt would be angry about this? I think people are angry because other people online said they should be angry.

IF you want AAA titles, you have to expect them to try to recup their monetary losses. It’s business. I expected it. I’m also expecting multiplayer map packs for 15 bucks each. That’s what you should expect for a AAA game. This is what people put their money out for time and time again, so it will keep happening over and over.

If this kind of thing pisses you off, maybe you should consider taking that money and supporting indie developers?

10 bucks for that DLC could net you 5 indie games instead, just saying.

Not interested in FFXIII-2, here’s why.

I’ll try to express my distaste of Final Fantasy 13-2 by using Vampires as an example.

Let’s say you’re a fan of anime like Vampire Hunter D and Hellsing- and love Castlevania games. “Vampire: the Masquerade” is a game you enjoyed, and you even dress like a ‘child of the night’. Clearly, you’ve loved vampires for a long while and was even excited to play as a vampire in Elder Scrolls games. Hell, you even have a poster of Vamp from Metal Gear, and think he’s the most badass MGS character.

Enter “Twilight”. You (as a life long vampire fan) pick it up with high hopes, and read the first book… You find yourself hating the characters, not caring about their motivations and never wanting to pick up anything Twilight related ever again (even though you love vampires). Your friends try to assure you- “after 20-25 chapters, it starts getting good!” but you think, “This vampire book sucked! My interests in vampires are bleeding out!”

Enter Twilight book #2. Your vampire loving friends, book review sites and news in general say that it fixes all the problems of the first book, and reads just like the classic Dracula books you’ve come to love in the past!

Would you really want to read that second book?

I generally put money forth on a sequel because I want to come back to the world or continue a story. If the story, gameplay or characters don’t quite do it for me, I drop it. I loved Xenosaga 1, and bought Xenosaga 2 immediately. I HATED Xenosaga 2, and never made it to the third one because of that. I heard the third one fixed the problems of the second one, but I wasn’t interested.
A sequel shouldn’t be an apology. You should build off of the first one (think Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2), not spend an entire game repairing the mistake.

I’m excited for Final Fantasy 15, but I don’t want to go back to Pulse again.

Soul Calibur V – “Legendary Souls for Dummies” Guide!

The mode is the ultimate test for a real hardcore Soul Calibur fan- or an impossibly annoying chore you need to do for a title. The reason I’m posting this is because I’ve tried it and it works! You can do this to any AI that you’re having trouble with. Also, I understand that there are casual fans that need help clearing this mode.

Credit for this method goes to “kriirk” on the Gamefaqs forum! On my first try, I blazed through everyone up to Elysium, and after her, I ran through all the way to Algol with relative ease.

-Pick Natsu.
-Spam 6B+K,B,B,B over and over.
-If enemy is getting too close, do one backstep and continue spamming.
-If opponent manages to rush you, do 8B+K,G+B, then backstep and continue spamming.

I’ve never used Natsu, followed these instructions, and beat Legendary Souls in 20 minutes.
The only reason I had trouble was because I underestimated Elysium.
Otherwise, it would easily be a 10 minute run. I hope this helps!

With this, you have the power!
Hopefully, you chose to come back later on your own terms, and show Legendary Souls who is boss, but until then, this guide should do XD

I love Soul Calibur 5!

I finally got it a day after it came out. I didn’t just get one, I bought two! One for each console ^^;
If you’re asking for an in-depth review, I can’t do that for you. You’re either going to buy it, or not (and besides- as a person who thoroughly enjoyed every Soul Calibur game- I’m a little biased anyway. I’m a total fanboy.)

You can just check a review here- but yeah- better gameplay, same silly story.

Or you can keep looking at my videos and pictures ^^;
The character creation is incredible this time around <3

Personally, since I love Hilde so much, I just bleached her hair, took her armor off and gave her glasses.

The computer’s AI jumps all over the place, but it teaches you not to leave holes in your defense. If you attack blindly, it’ll bend you over and thrust it in deep. Here’s one of the harder fights-

So… Yeah. I love this game, and I’m not going to bother trying to sell you on it. It’s just… I love.. I loveeeee!!
