When I loaded the stream, I heard “new game from Sega!” and quietly geeked out.
I thought “Oh yeah! Skies of Arcadia!”, and ran through a list of several games I’d like to play. Instead, I was greeted to a sports game and some Sonic game.
I love you, Sega- but I’m not a Sonic fan.
I was pretty excited to see the Game Gear console release on the 3DS eShop. This means I can play Shining Force again! This was huge news just for me. 
The Zelda Oracle games will be released soon on the eShop. And… Stream lagged up really bad.
Resident Evil Revelations will be rereleased on the Wii-U, but that’s no surprise. It’s on everything else. I’ll take Jill’s ass where I can get it though.
A Luigi game came out. It’s basically, Mario- with green paint. I’m not even going to post an image.
Pikmin 3!
I’m not a fan of the series, but it looks pretty. Have some screens! It’s said to be much more accessible than the other titles, good for newcomers to the series (me).
Screen froze on Reggie. My body wasn’t ready for that.
Overall, all this Nintendo Direct did was make me wonder if I’m really the target audience for this console. If I had kids when I was done with high school 7 years ago, this might’ve been a wonderful bit of news.
But as a single adult, I feel a little alienated.
If I’m not buying a game like that Sonic/Mario winter Olympic game for my kids, I’m just using it to continue staring at Peach. And as much as I dig Peach’s peach, that’s not a reason to buy a Wii-U.
Nintendo will be holding a separate event to show games that won’t be released until late this yeat / early next year, and it will run around E3.
I’ll watch that one too and keep you posted.
